The music is fresh though not lived up to the comparison of the original ‘Aashiqui’ which had superb love-mad scores. The hook and melody of the 2004 original is so strong and authentically dhol dominated fast-paced Punjabi number that one just can’t go wrong using the main bits of it. How they both let love take them over then shapes the story. Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui Title Track is an easy success as it would be a hit even without listening to the song. But, i will recommend you to watch it for Aditya Roy Kapurs brilliant performance. Aarohi climbs the ladder of success but is not very happy about it as he gets left behind. Aashiqui 2 is looking like a documentry on Alchohal. RJ gets into brawls and fights everywhere he goes and thereby loses on work. Well, he succeeds in doing so but realizes that he has actually lost himself somewhere in the process. This young beautiful girl Aarohi Keshav Shirke (Shraddha Kapoor) comes accidently into his life and he falls in love and takes a vow to make her a big singing star.
